During explosive volcanic eruptions, a mixture of volcanic gas and solid particle (volcanic ash, lapilli and bomb) is ejected from the volcanic vent into atmospehre.  A result of numerical simulation of eruption cloud Red represents the lighter than the atmospheric density. Blue represetns the heavier than the atmospheric density. |
